Together with colleagues from the UMG and other institutions of the state of Lower Saxony, we and numerous colleagues from the University of Göttingen went on strike on November 16, 2021, starting at 9:30 a.m. and marched in a demonstration (with distance and masks) to Wilhelmsplatz. Of course, we also drew attention to the issue of chain contracts at the university and showed solidarity with our colleagues at UMG (University Hospital), who are demanding adequate salaries for their important work.
